No. 1 ranked Patriotes stay undefeated with win over Ridgebacks

The Ontario Tech men's hockey team suffered a tough 6-2 loss on Friday night at the hands of the No. 1 ranked UQTR Patriotes. After an exciting comeback attempt in the second period, the Patriotes ultimately pulled away in the third.

The Ridgebacks found themselves trailing 4-0 halfway through the second period before Sean Ross (Bracebridge, Ont.) got them on the board. Less than a minute later, Noah McMullin (Beaver Bank, N.S.) scored a breakaway goal to cut the deficit in half.
 
The Patriotes added two more in the final period to secure the victory.

Ontario Tech's next game will be a rematch against the UQTR Patriotes on Saturday, Nov. 5. Puck drop is set for 3 p.m.
