The Ontario Tech women's hockey team picked up three points from their 3-0 shutout game against the York Lions on Saturday night to earn a weekend split.
After a goal-less first period, Ridgeback Melisa Ardanaz (Surrey, B.C.) grabbed the first goal of the game giving them a one-goal lead going into the third period.
Harrie Jones (Ottawa, Ont.) scored the first goal of the third followed by Milana Perri (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.) who scored from the opposite end of the ice on an empty net.

Zoe McGee (Kanata, Ont.) made 29 saves.
The women's hockey team plays their last game of the fall semester next Saturday against Toronto at 7 p.m.
