Jackson scores in return of annual school day game to Ontario Tech

In the return of the annual school day game, which was canceled in 2021-22 due to COVID, the Ontario Tech women's hockey team welcomed five elementary schools to the Campus Ice Centre for their game against the Toronto Varsity Blues. In a tough and physical affair, the Blues defeated the Ridgebacks 2-1 on Friday morning. 

After trailing 2-0 in the third, Julia Jackson (Uxbridge, Ont.) cut the deficit in half at the 8:55 mark. That would be Ontario Tech's lone goal of the game.
 
Ridgebacks' goalie Zoe McGee had an impressive outing. She finished with 41 saves in Friday's loss.

The Ridgebacks' next game will be on Saturday, Nov, 26, at home against the York Lions. Puck drop is set for 3 p.m.
