The Ontario Tech women's hockey team lost 3-1 in Kingston against the Queen's Gaels on Saturday night.
 
In the second period Ridgeback, Madeline Schroder (Kitchener, Ont.) scored the game's opening goal.The Gaels Alexandra Maw quickly answered with a goal followed by Kelsey Dunn, giving the Gaels a one-goal lead going into the third period.
 
Quinn Johnston got the final goal of the game for the Gaels.

In net, Brooke Vial (Port Mood, B.C.) had 34 saves in the loss, while Vanessa Campeau made 22.
 
The women's hockey team is back at home next Friday for their game against Toronto at 11 a.m.
