The Ontario Tech men's basketball team fell just short of finding their first win of the season in a 94-85 loss to the York Lions.

The Ridgebacks came out strong behind Jayden Coke (Ajax, Ont.) who had a18 point and 11 rebound double-double, and they had four other players enter double digits with AJ Cummings (Ajax, Ont.) scoring 15, Levi Ogbonna scoring 11 points and two first year players also got in on the action with Tombe Pitia (Kitchener, Ont.) scoring 12 points and grabbing nine boards, and Stefan Prica (Etobicoke, Ont.) scoring 15 points.

While the Ridgebacks scoring showed up, they struggled to keep pace with the Lions down the stretch and saw the game slip away from them in the dying moments of the game, as the Lions had three players reach the 20 point mark.

Ontario Tech will get a quick break and return home on Nov. 19 when they face the Queens Gaels at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
