The Western Mustangs, led by Brett Fischer, Ariane Saumure and Sarah Harvey, topped the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks 69-42 on Thursday night in preseason action. 

Fischer finished with the only double-double in the game, scoring 16 points with 11 boards. Harvey was one rebound off a double-double, while leading the game with 18 points. 

For the Ridgebacks, no player broke double digits, with Sara Esongola Biango (Montreal, Que.) and Nadia Ismaila (Ottawa, Ont.) finishing with a team-high eight points each.

They will be back in action at home on Friday night to continue preseason action against the Lambton Lions.
