OSHAWA, Ont. - The Ontario Tech University women's soccer team won their eighth straight Campus Cup with a 2-0 win over the Durham Lords on Wednesday night. 

Sarah Foster (Oshawa, Ont.) scored both goals for Ontario Tech, with a goal in each half.

The victory means the Ridgebacks have won every Campus Cup since Durham won the inaugural match in 2012.

For the men, they followed with a 1-0 victory over the Durham Lords. The game-winning goal for Ontario Tech came from Isaiah Skeeter with just two minutes remaining in the match.

The 2019 edition of the Campus Cup was called at halftime due to lightning, but prior to that, the Ridgebacks had won three straight games.

Ontario Tech continues preseason action on Saturday when they host the Guelph Gryphons at Vaso's Field.
