TORONTO, Ont. - In their first game since October 2019, the Ontario Tech women's soccer team played to a draw on Monday night. 

The Ridgebacks came from behind to draw the Ryerson Rams 1-1. Ontario Tech's lone goal came from first-year Tia Schaffer (Saskatoon, Sask.), assisted by Jordan Tortolo (East Gwillimbury, Ont.). 

In goal, Alicia Chisholm (Woodbridge, Ont.) and Olivia Tierney (King City, Ont.) each played a half of the match. 

Ontario Tech plays their first home exhibition games this week, starting with the annual Campus Cup returning on Wednesday, Sept. 15 against the Durham Lords. Kick-off is slated for 6 p.m. On Saturday they host the Guelph Gryphons at 2 p.m.
