OTTAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's basketball team fell to the No. 7 ranked Carleton Ravens 82-50 on the first night of back-to-backs in Ottawa.
The Ridgebacks kept it within striking range in the first half, cutting the lead to eight behind
Jolesha Allen-Brown's (Oshawa, Ont.) two three pointers in the second quarter. However, the offence struggled to deal with Carleton's halftime adjustments while the Ravens pulled ahead with 21 points from Madison Reid.
The sisters
Hadeza Ismaila (Ottawa, Ont.) and
Nadia Ismaila (Ottawa, Ont.) showed their versatility in their homecoming with each scoring eight points, Allen-Brown also chipped in eight points.
Ontario Tech will be returning to the Raven's Nest tomorrow night for the second game of their back-to-back set in Ottawa. When they return to Oshawa on Nov. 24, they'll be facing the Rams in their final games before winter break.
