KINGSTON, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's hockey team was unable to crack Joey May on Friday night as they were shutout 2-0 by the RMC Paladins.
This marks back-to-back losses for the Ridgebacks and RMC's first victory of the 2021-22 season. The Ridgebacks have had plenty of success against the Paladins, with their last loss coming in 2018.
Ontario Tech outshot RMC 28-23, with
Leif Hertz (Kingston, Ont.) making 21 saves in the loss.
May turned aside all 28 Ridgeback shots.
The two teams meet again on Saturday night in Oshawa, with puck drop at the Campus Ice Centre set for 7 p.m.
