KINGSTON, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's soccer team was unable to crack the nationally ranked Queen's Gaels on Saturday in the second half of a home-and-home.
The Gaels took the match 5-0, which followed their 3-1 win on Thursday night in Oshawa.
Kirsten Tynan earned the clean sheet for Queen's, making one save, while
Alicia Chisholm (Woodbridge, Ont.) set a career record with 16 saves for Ontario Tech.
Queen's opened the scoring in the 16th minute, with Jenna Leslie's goal standing as the eventual game-winning goal. The Gaels had five different scorers, with Raya Athwal, Cecilia Way, Maddy Moran and Christie Gray each finding the back of the goal after Leslie.
Ontario Tech is now off until Friday, Oct. 15 when they host the Carleton Ravens at Vaso's Field.
