OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's soccer team had a decisive 6-0 win tonight against the RMC Paladins at their last home game of the season, putting them one win closer to a playoff spot.
The Ridgebacks were on fire during the fast-paced first half, scoring four goals.
Christopher Campoli (Woodbridge, Ont.) was the star of the show scoring three of the four goals putting him in the top three in OUA scoring.
Christopher Jaggarnath (Markham, Ont.) also grabbed a goal at the 16th minute.
The second half consisted of the Ridgebacks successfully working hard to keep their lead.
Quintyn Walcott (Bridgetown, Bar.) took the game to 5-0.
Campoli came back for more, scoring his fourth and final goal for the Ridgebacks, making him the first to score four goals in a match in program history.
Matthew Mattila (Pickering, Ont.) was in net for the Ridgebacks during the first half making one save, with
Owen Edwards (Richmond Hill, Ont.) playing the second half.
The Ridgebacks will meet RMC again Sunday at 2 p.m. in Kingston to wrap up their OUA season.
