OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's soccer team earned points in their third straight game on Sunday, picking up a 3-0 victory over the Trent Excalibur at home.
Christopher Campoli (Woodbridge, Ont.) opened the scoring 45 seconds into the match, continuing the Ridgebacks offensive success against Trent from Friday night.
Mateo Marques (Burlington, Ont.) added to the Ridgebacks lead, scoring the second goal of the game in the 63rd minute.
Matthew Perovic (Toronto, Ont.) rounded out the Ontario Tech scoring in the 82nd, finishing on a perfect cross from
Danial Rafisamii (Toronto, Ont.).
Matthew Mattila (Pickering, Ont.) and Jacob McPhee each picked up three saves in goal for their respective teams in the match.
Ontario Tech will play their final home game on Friday, Oct. 29 against the RMC Paladins before travelling to Kingston to play RMC on Sunday, Oct. 31 in their final league match.
