PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's soccer team had a huge outing in Peterborough and grabbed a 4-0 win against Trent Excalibur.
The Ridgebacks packed the first half with action scoring three of the goals.
Mateo Marques (Burlington, Ont.) scored the first goal six minutes into the game.
Jordan Melo (Mississauga, Ont.) scored the second with his head at the 29th minute and to wrap up the first half
Christopher Campoli (Woodbridge, Ont.) scored at the 38th minute.
In the second half, defence worked hard, only giving Trent a few chances to score.
Just seconds before the whistle was blown,
David Reilly (Whitby, Ont.) snuck one more into the net for the Ridgebacks to end the game.
Ontario Tech will host Trent this Sunday at 3:15 p.m. with their final home game on Friday, Oct. 29 against the RMC Paladins.
