WATERLOO, Ont. – All three goals were scored in the second period of Thursday night's preseason game between Ontario Tech and Laurier.
 
The Golden Hawks ended up on the winning end of the 2-1 contest.
 
Natalie Wozney (Whitby, Ont.) opened the scoring 6:41 into the period for Ontario Tech, but midway through the frame Haykey Szymanowski tied the game at ones.
 
Elle Spencer scored the eventual game-winning goal with 3:40 to go in the period.
 
Zoe McGee (Kanata, Ont.) made 36 saves in the loss, while Cohen Myers made 19 in the Laurier victory.
 
The Ridgebacks are back in action Saturday when they face the Queen's Gaels in Kingston. Puck drop is 7:30 p.m.
