WATERLOO, Ont. – After a pair of positive finishes for the Ontario Tech men's basketball to start the Naismith Classic, they ended the weekend with a 108-77 loss to the Laurier Golden Hawks.
 
Kahleek Bakare-Whyte (Toronto, Ont.) led the Ridgebacks with 19 points. Cameron Ramage (Ajax, Ont.) and Anthony Pate (Oakville, Ont.) finished with 13 and 12 points respectively.
 
Ali Sow led Laurier with 21 points, while Kareem Elliott finished with 14 points and eight boards.
 
The Ridgebacks will now return home for preseason action against the Concordia Stingers on Friday night.
