OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's soccer team is pleased to announce the commitment of striker Tatum Pearce as part of the 2020 recruiting class.
 
Hailing from Kanata, the West Carleton Secondary School grad joins the Ridgebacks after playing the last four seasons with West Ottawa Soccer elite and showcase programs.
 
"Tatum is a dynamic and dangerous attacking player with good composure in front of the goal," said head coach Audra Sherman. "She will be an exciting player to watch and excellent addition to our Ridgeback family."
 
Pearce has most recently been named her team's captain and was her squad's leading scorer in 2019. As a group, they were Mayor's Cup finalists.
 
In 2017 and 2018 she was also the top scorer, as well as the captain in 2017.
 
Pearce is the first commitment to the Ridgebacks soccer program for 2020, with additional players expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
