OSHAWA, Ont. – The UOIT women's soccer team have won their third straight game after edging the Queen's Gaels 1-0 on Saturday at home on Saturday.
Kylie Bordeleau (Cambridge, Ont.) capitalized on one of eight UOIT corner kicks, driving home the ball from
Jessica Mithrush (Thunder Bay, Ont.) who was placed the ball perfectly in the 18-yard box.
The lone goal of the match came in the 32
nd minute.
Helen Frampton (Toronto, Ont.) earned her third straight clean sheet in goal for the Ridgebacks with three saves, while Madison Tyrell made nine saves in the loss for Queen's.
With the win in goal, Frampton has gone 280 minutes without a goal against.
The Ridgebacks will return to action on Sunday at home against the RMC Paladins. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
