Shynice Williams (Mississauga, Ont.) dribbled across the left side and sent a through ball to Sribny, who made a run behind the defenders and pushed the ball behind the keeper.
In the second half, quick passing would break the Voyageurs defence as
Nicole Zajac (Mississauga, Ont.),
Jessica Mithrush (Thunder Bay, Ont.) and Lucas worked the ball around the field. The ball would end up with Lucas in the slot, where she beat the goalkeeper in the bottom right hand corner of the net.
