OSHAWA, Ont. - Due to the unplayable condition of the natural grass field on campus, UOIT has moved their OUA conference games this weekend to the Oshawa Civic Recreation Complex (Field #1). Game times will remain 12 and 2:15 p.m.
UOIT women's soccer, who was recently named the OUA Pizza Pizza team of the month, will look to keep their undefeated record in tact as the Ridgebacks host the Laurentian Voyageurs (Saturday) and Nipissing Lakers (Sunday). UOIT jumped up three spots in the CIS polls on Tuesday as they are ranked sixth.
The UOIT men's soccer team is making a playoff push, as they sit three points behind the Lakers for the sixth and final playoff spot in the OUA eastern conference standings. The Ridgebacks will be looking for two wins to jump into a playoff spot at the conclusion of the weekend.
Sunday's game is the Ridgebacks' regular season home finale.
