OUA Women's Soccer Playoffs
UOIT hosts Toronto in OUA East quarter-final OSHAWA, Ont. – With a week in between games the UOIT women's soccer team is looking forward to hitting the field Sunday for their playoff matchup with Toronto.
The No. 7 ranked Ridgebacks received a bye to the game for finishing second in the OUA East with a 12-2-2 record. Toronto defeated Laurentian 2-0 on Wednesday in the East 3 vs. 6 game to advance to the quarter-final.
In their only meeting of the season, Oct. 1 in Oshawa, UOIT defeated Toronto 2-0.
Sunday's game, which kicks off at 4 p.m., is being played at the Oshawa Civic Recreation Complex - Field No. 5.
The other East quarter-final is in Ottawa at 1 p.m. between the No. 1 ranked Gee-Gees and Queen's Gaels.
In the OUA West, at 1 p.m. No. 4 Western hosts Guelph and No. 6 ranked Wilfrid Laurier hosts York.
