Sam Forchielli – Women’s Hockey
Forchielli, a fourth-year criminology and justice studies major, had a career high four-point night in UOIT's 5-3 win over the Windsor Lancers. With three assists in the third period, the Hamilton native capped off her night with a breakaway goal to seal the Ridgeback victory. On Friday night, Forchielli had an assist against the defending CIS champion Western Mustangs. She is currently on a three-game point streak.
Mark Petaccio – Men’s Hockey
Petaccio, a first-year criminology and justice studies major, had two goals and an assist in the Ridgebacks 3-2 victory over the No. 8 ranked Western Mustangs. Less than 24 hours later against the defending OUA champion Guelph Gryphons, Petaccio recorded an assist on the game-winning goal. The Sicklerville, N.J. native has registered points in five of his past six games while the Ridgebacks have won seven of their last eight games.
