Cassandra Donaldson named UOIT athlete of the week
OSHAWA, Ont. – Cassandra Donaldson of the UOIT dance team has been named the athlete of the week presented by Boston Pizza North Oshawa for the period ending March 8.
Donaldson, a graduate student, played a big role in the Ridgebacks getting platinum scores at the strive competition in Brampton. Donaldson performed in four of six Ridgeback routines including Swinging Party, Fact, All about that Bass and Fitzpleasure.
The UOIT dance team will be hosting the 3rd Annual Ridgeback Dance Showcase on Friday, March 13 at the Regent Theatre downtown Oshawa. Doors will be opening for the event at 7 p.m. with a scheduled start time of 7:30p.m. There is no fee to attend the event.
