Shannon Lucas, a third year kinesiology major, has caught fire since moving to striker scoring five goals in three games including four this week in a pair of Ridgeback victories. In UOIT’s win over RMC, Lucas scored the game’s opening three goals for a natural hat-trick and recorded an assist. The following day in UOIT’s 1-0 victory over the No. 10 ranked Queen’s Gaels, Lucas scored the game winner on a penalty kick. The Kinesiology major has scored the game-winning goal for UOIT (4-0-1) in three straight games, as they are the only team in the OUA eastern conference with an undefeated record.
