Mithrush, a third year nursing major, played a key role in UOIT’s four-point weekend. In the team’s opening game against the University of Ottawa, Mithrush recorded an assist on the game-winning goal scored by teammate Kayla De Souza. The next day against Carleton, Mithrush scored the Ridgebacks’ lone goal in a 1-1 draw. The goal was from long range as she shot the ball from about 40-yards out, floated it over the keeper and in the back of the net.
