Elijah-Clarke, a commerce major, was a key piece to the Ridgebacks earning a pair of victories over the weekend against the Ryerson Rams and Trent Excalibur. Although his success cannot be quantified with numbers on the scoresheet, his play from the left side of the pitch was a continuous threat against both opponents and created space for offensive opportunities for the Ridgebacks in each match. His play defensively was also key in helping to contain threats by the nationally ranked Rams.
 
Next weekend both soccer teams travel to Ottawa to face the Ottawa Gee-Gees and Carleton Ravens. The women face the Gee-Gees on Saturday at 1 p.m., followed by both squads battling Carleton at 6 and 8 p.m. on Sunday night.
 
The Ontario Tech student-athlete of the week award is presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
