Martindale, a forensic psychology major, scored 14 goals in her first weekend of play with the Ridgebacks. Playing in Kingston on Saturday, she opened with seven goals against the Guelph Gryphons in a 16-6 victory. To cap off the day she scored seven more times in a 12-9 win over the Brock Badgers. The two wins, aided by Martindale's offence, were the first back-to-back wins to start a season in Ridgebacks lacrosse history.
Next weekend the lacrosse team returns home to host a pair of games at Vaso's Field. They open against the York Lions at 8:30 a.m., followed by a 1:45 p.m. tilt against the Queen's Gaels.
