Maguire, a second-year forensic psychology major, delivered an outstanding performance in the Ridgebacks critical regular season finale against Concordia at the Campus Ice Centre on Saturday night. Maguire recorded three points in the victory, helping UOIT secure a fifth place finish in the OUA east division, setting up a first round matchup with the fourth place McGill Redmen. The Cobourg native first picked up an assist on Keaton Holinaty's (Hardisty, Alta.) game-tying goal with under one minute remaining in the second period. Maguire then scored what would become the game-winner just three minutes into the third period, adding a second assist on Jack Patterson's (Bedford, N.S.) empty-netter to end the game. Now with six goals and 10 assists this season, Maguire has doubled his points total from his rookie season last year where he posted four goals and four assists.
