Carmichael (industrial and applied mathematics) and Chung (health science) teamed up and won a gold medal at the IUCC event hosted by the University of Toronto (Mississauga campus) over the weekend.
 
In the "B" flight Carmichael and Chung won their semifinal match against Ryerson's Nikki Wong and Nikki He Yin 21-18, 17-21, 21-16. In the "B" final, Carmichael and Chung defeated Nguyen and Law of Ryerson/UOIT 21-9, 21-12 in a pretty dominant performance.
