Albaira, a third-year software engineering major, picked up a pair of victories over the Ryerson Rams at the UOIT badminton marathon. In men's singles, Albaira beat his opponent in straights sets by scores of 22-20, 21-14. In mixed doubles, the Whitby native teamed up with Abigail Kawalec and won a tight match 21-19, 21-19. The Ridgebacks have shown tremendous improvement since starting up in September, picking up four victories over the Rams compared to none in their first meeting of the season.
