Thaker, in his third year of electrical engineering, won his first OUA game with the Ridgebacks men's soccer team. Thaker made four saves and played all 90 minutes en route to beating the RMC Paladins 3-1. This marked UOIT's first win of the 2016-17 season. Thaker also played the second half of Saturday's match against the Queen's Gaels after starter Nicholas Miller left the game.
