Shaun officially joined the Ontario Tech athletic department in 2023. Prior to joining he was a Ontario University Athletics (OUA) CHAMP award winner for Best Web Broadcast Announcer in 2022, and contributed as a Sports Information Assistant for the Ridgebacks. He also enjoyed time as a beat reporter covering the Canadian national basketball teams and the Scarborough Shooting Stars for On Point Basketball, and has been a photographer for several high profile sporting events such as the Concacaf Gold Cup, Toronto FC and the CEBL.
He holds a degree in Journalism – Mass Media from Durham College, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Digital Media Studies from Ontario Tech in 2022 and earned a Masters of Art in Social Practice and Innovation from Ontario Tech in 2025.
