Chris joined the Ontario Tech athletic department in 2014. In 2017 he represented Canada as a communications officer at the Summer Universiade held in Taipei, Taiwan.
During his time with the department he was a Masters of Education student at Ontario Tech University, graduating in 2022. He is also a graduate of St. Thomas University (Fredericton, N.B.) with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Journalism. Prior to his current role, he freelanced for The Canadian Press and Brunswick News Inc., and was the sports editor for TC Media's newspaper, The News, in New Glasgow, N.S.
Alongside others in the department, he has helped Ontario Tech win eight Ontario University Athletics (OUA) CHAMP awards for marketing.Â
