Jessica Salt

Jessica has been with Ontario Tech University since 2007. Graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science Honours Kinesiology degree, she then obtained a Diploma in Sports Injury Management from Sheridan College, and a Master of Health Science degree from Ontario Tech University.

Since joining the university, Jessica has taught in the Faculty of Health Sciences – designing and teaching the Intro to Injury Management and Advanced Injury Management courses yearly since 2010. She also supervises the Athletic Therapy placement for 4th year Kinesiology students who support the Durham College and Ontario Tech varsity teams. 

As an Athletic Therapist, Jessica has had the pleasure of working at many provincial and national sport events including the CIS/USPORTS Men's Hockey and men’s and women’s Soccer Championships, as well Canadian Rugby Nationals each year from 2003-2013. Jessica also had the opportunity to work at the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics Games, as a member of the medical staff for men's sledge hockey, and she was the Athletic Therapist for the Canadian men’s U18 national rugby team from 2013-2016.
