Liane began her lacrosse career as an Oshawa Lady Blue Knight and continued to play in the OUA with the Laurier Golden Hawks. As a coach, Liane started coaching with the LBK U15 program and later, as Assistant Coach with the U19 program.
Liane graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Kinesiology and Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier University, and continued her studies at Dalhousie University with a Master of Health Administration. In 2023, Liane graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and works in health care administration in the Toronto area.
