Ben is a sport scientist and data analyst, focusing on athlete monitoring, and the use of statistics for sport performance. His work includes collecting and analyzing game event data to create statistical models. He is a PhD student in the Expertise and Skill Acquisition lab with Dr. Nick Wattie, where his research focuses on the measurement of training load, and performance evaluation. Ben completed both his undergraduate and Master's degrees in kinesiology at Ontario Tech, and played for the Ridgebacks varsity ice hockey team. Ben also works as a performance consultant, and hockey goal tending coach.
