Sam is an Oshawa Native who logged four seasons in the PWHL playing for Durham West Jr. Lightning, twice captaining the team.

She’s been in the hockey skill development world for seven years now and recently went through the Hockey Canada National Skills Coach training program. Sam has experience coaching skill development for players at the PWHL, U SPORTS and NCAA levels.

She’s currently pursuing a degree in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Sam is excited to start her U SPORTS coaching career in her hometown with the Ridgebacks.
