Skinner joins the Ridgebacks with high school and club experience.
He was with Milliken Mills High School from 1999-2004, where he led his program to three York Region Athletic Association (YRAA) titles, which included back-to-back championships in 2002 and 2003.
From 2009-12 he spent time with Triple Balance AAU and currently has been with UA Canada Elite since 2012.
Further to that experience, he has also been director of basketball operations with Thornlea Prep for the past two seasons. In 2017-18, also in a role as head coach, he led the team to a 28-17 record before falling in the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA) quarter-final. This season as an assistant coach the team was 32-10, losing the OSBA final.
