Choose a Staff Member: Campbell, Dave Gauld, Brad Giacalone, Mary Hodgins, Curtis Johnson, Jamie Moore, Jack Rudd, Rod Stewart, Dan Go Paul Ranger Title Associate Coach Ranger started his junior hockey days in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Oshawa Generals before making the jump to the NHL to play with the Tampa Bay Lightning where he spent five seasons playing a top two-way defending role for the team.  After a few more professional seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs and NLA in Switzerland he decided to retire from professional hockey. After retiring from professional hockey in 2015, Ranger felt the opportunity to work with Ridgebacks program was a great opportunity close to home.  He loves working with young committed student athletes.  He provides a positive, constructive environment for players to learn and improve. Ranger also runs a private training service - Ranger Defensemen - for young, up and coming defensemen in the OHL and NHL where his unique approach and successful programs launch players forward to reach their full potential.
