    Assistant Coach & Academic Liaison
A recent graduate from the sport management program at Brock University, Gauld's role as an assistant will entail numerous off-ice aspects of the program.
 
He will work with Fisher on identifying, scouting and recruiting potential student-athletes, as well as acting as an academic support staff for the men's hockey program. With him taking on this position, the goal is to grow the success of the program both on the ice and in the classroom.
 
In addition to his duties with the Ridgebacks, Gauld is the assistant coach of the Whitby Wildcats Midget AAA team in the OMHA. He is entering his second season with the Wildcats after winning OMHA gold and OHF bronze in 2014-15. As a player he spent three seasons in the OJHL (Whitby Fury/Bowmanville Eagles) before helping the Bay Ducks win the 2011 Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League championship, while he attended university in Nova Scotia.
