Sharmarke Mohammed first joined the Ridgebacks in 2020-21. He is currently the assistant coach and lead recruit at the Toronto Basketball Academy (TBA), formerly known as BTB Prep. In 2019-20, Mohamed supported TBA to a 31-9 record including a 9-3 record in the National Preparatory Association (NPA).

Mohamed has traveled and coached BTB AAU Program (2016-Present) and more recently started developing a national database of high school basketball standouts.Â

Mohamed earned an advanced diploma in business from Canadore College. He is currently completing his BBA from Laurentian University.Â

As a student-athlete, Mohamed was a four-year player and team captain at Canadore and instrumental in the growth of the program as highlighted in his involvement as a proud alum.
