The
“School is Cool” Tours is a community outreach program where UOIT Varsity Athletes visit elementary schools in the Durham Region to talk to kids about the importance of education, athletics and living a healthy lifestyle.
Such topics include setting goals, having a positive attitude and working hard. The program is worthwhile and provides students with positive role models in the classroom. You never know, Hunter the Ridgeback might make a special guest appearance at School is Cool event!
This program is
FREE and suitable for grades K-8.
