UOIT student-athletes strive to be the best in athletics and academics. The varsity athletic program has also made a strong commitment to the local community through involvement. The UOITÂ athletic department encourages community initiatives, providing a great experience for the athletes by lending a helping hand to the neighborhood in which they live.
The Ridgebacks have been involved in several fundraising campaigns and aided numerous charitable organizations.
