OTTAWA, Ont. — The Ontario Tech women's soccer team fell 3-0 to the Ottawa Gee-Gees Sunday afternoon at Matt Anthony Field.
Ottawa struck three times in the first half — Gracie Somers opened the scoring at 3:54 with an assist from Rosalie Côté, then Celina Bensebaa and Madison Clark made it 3-0 before the break. Ontario Tech's Nikita Mohan had a chance late in the half, striking the post in the 40th minute.
Goalkeeper Jacqueline Cardy played the first half for the Ridgebacks while Talia Hopkin subbed in for the second half.
The Ridgebacks will return home to host the TMU Bold on September 21 at Vaso's Field for OUA Anti-Racism Week.
