OSHAWA, Ont. –  The Ontario Tech men's hockey team came out strong on senior night, but McGill spoiled the Ridgebacks' celebration with a 2-1 win on Friday.

Before puck drop, Ontario Tech honoured five graduating seniors: Andrew Suriyuth, Baxter Anderson, Ben Diamond, James White and Marko Jakovljevic.

Gabriel Bernier scored Ontario Tech's lone goal on the power play in the second period, assisted by Antoine Desrochers and Justin Svenson. Goaltender Beckett Langkow made 17 saves in the loss.

The Ridgebacks struck first at 13:43 of the second, but McGill answered with back-to-back even-strength goals from Brandon Frattaroli and Alexandre Gagnon less than three minutes later to take the lead for good.
