GUELPH, Ont – The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks men's curling team travelled to Guelph, Ont. to compete in the OUA Men's Curling Championship this weekend. 

The team, composed of Ryan Hastings,  Zachary Bowles, Alexander Bellman, Tom Keys-Brasier and Clayton More, came off a two-win weekend, defeating the Trent Excalibur and the Algoma Thunderbirds.

The Ridgebacks dropped their first game to the TMU Bold and had a hard-fought battle against the Trent Excalibur, losing 4-6.

The Ridgebacks found their first win against the host Guelph Gryphons, stealing 3 in the first end and 2 in the sixth end to give them a 6-5 win.

In their final tournament match, the Ridgebacks conceded a 10-2 loss to the Queens Gaels.
