OSHAWA, ONT. – Ontario Tech ran into a nationally ranked Queen's squad on Friday afternoon, falling 84–42 at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
Queen's opened the game on a strong run and maintained control throughout, leading 40–21 at halftime and pulling further ahead in the third quarter. Ontario Tech showed stretches of solid defence and energy, highlighted by contributions from across the roster.
Adra Barnet led the Ridgebacks with eight points, while Brianna Morrison and Elliot Cowan each added five. The Ridgebacks' bench contributed 25 points, with Zoey-Anna Hemeon knocking down a fourth-quarter three and Amarachi Achioso scoring a pair at the line. Quincy Okubasu added four rebounds, three steals, and two assists to pace Ontario Tech on the defensive end.
The Ridgebacks now shift their focus to their final game of the semester before the winter break, when they take on the McMaster Marauders at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 30 at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
