TORONTO, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's soccer team came up just short Monday night, falling 1-0 to the TMU Bold at Downsview Park.
TMU's Cyrus Rollocks scored the lone goal of the match in the 32nd minute, converting a setup from Justin Santos to give the home side the lead. Despite Ontario Tech pressing in the second half, the Ridgebacks were unable to find an equalizer.
Goalkeeper Peter Sheberstov made seven saves in the loss, keeping Ontario Tech within reach throughout the match. Ashkaun Mohammadi and Christian Keshishian were each shown yellow cards in the second half as the Ridgebacks battled to the final whistle.
Ontario Tech managed two shots on goal and a pair of corner kicks in the contest, while TMU recorded seven total shots.
