KINGSTON, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's soccer team wrapped up its regular season with a convincing 3-0 victory over the RMC Paladins on Sunday afternoon.
After a scoreless first half, the Ridgebacks broke through in the 54th minute when Anthony Dawoud netted his first goal of the season to open the scoring. Nicholas Brown doubled the lead in the 73rd minute, converting a corner kick assisted by Noah Mossavat, before Jeremy Caprietta sealed the result six minutes later with his first of the campaign.
The Ridgebacks controlled play throughout, outshooting RMC 12–5 and holding the Paladins without a goal for the full 90 minutes. Goalkeepers Peter Sheberstov and Connor Petri combined for the clean sheet, each making key stops to preserve the shutout.
With the win, Ontario Tech closes out its OUA regular season at 6-5-1 and have clinched a spot in the playoffs. Stay tuned to goridgebacks.com for playoff details as they become available.
