OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ridgebacks hunt for a playoff spot continued on Saturday afternoon with a 3-2 loss to the visiting TMU Bold.

The Bold returned back to the Campus Ice Centre for the second game of a back-to-back and were greeted with two goals in the first period from Julia Jackson (Uxbridge, Ont.) and Kayla Welk (Barrie, Ont.) with Harrie Jones (Ottawa, Ont.) picking up an assist on each of the goals.

TMU responded less than a minute into the second period with a goal from Neely Van Volsen, followed by a late goal from Kayla Kondo to tie the game up heading into the third period. With seven minutes left in the third, the Bold found the decisive goal from Cailey Davis to secure the win in Oshawa.

The Ridgebacks will head out on the road to face the Toronto Varsity Blues on Thursday, February 8 at 7:30 p.m.
